Does your goal PULL you toward your VISION?

It is possible to work VERY hard and very long and not end up at the destination you want to be.
What if I told you your heart's desire is within your grasp, but first you have to tell me what you really want and why it's important to you.
Could you do it?
Often people assume as a coach I push people to achieve something they can't do for themselves, but that's not really true.
I think Steve Jobs sums up what true transformation requires when he said, "If you're working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed, the VISION pulls you."
Since most of my clients want to transform their body, the tell me they have a goal to lose X number of pounds 20, 30, 50, and that's great, but it's not a compelling enough goal to get us to put down the chips or ice cream.
Often we want transformation, but we don’t take the time to figure out why we want it. Therefore out goals don’t have any compelling power, vision or purpose to PULL us toward them.
When we don’t clarify SPECIFIC goals and desires that hold meaning and purpose for us, we will settle for whatever is left over.
The bottom line is if we don’t design our life someone else will and it may not be what we want.
Clarity is like a target. Like a compass pointing us to where we should go.
