"Success is a few simple disciplines practiced everyday. Failure is a few errors in judgement repeated everyday." –Jim Rohn
My clients are typically working professional women. Often they are moms juggling work and family life with many plates spinning at all times.
I commonly hear these wonderful women beat themselves up because they can’t find the ability to resist evening snacks or find the motivation to exercise consistently.
They often think they are lackings self control and willpower to get the job done.
These are often very successful woman, who give excellence to both their work and families and can’t figure out why this one area of life eludes them.
I used to feel the same way until I learned the one common mistake we are making.
We believe we can use willpower to accomplish the results we want and if we can’t then something is wrong with us and we just need to try harder.
Over the last 3 years I have done extensive research on this missing piece to the health and fitness puzzle and uncovered two important facts.
It is not always available to us and no matter how hard we work, we can’t get more willpower by trying harder.
Our brain doesn't operate that way. Our “Boss Brain” (AKA The Pre-Frontal Cortex) handles our most important work like:
I used to think willpower was like a muscle you could train to become stronger, and work harder.
The reality though is it is more like a battery - similar to our cell phone. It functions best when it is fully charged and rested, and is drained quickly by the following things:
Can you see the problem with relying on this part of the brain to take care of us? It's not reliable.
When this battery drains, we have nothing left to resist those snacks or the necessary motivation to get a workout in, so we always revert to our habits..good or bad.
We can not recharge willpower by our effort any more than we can recharge our cell phone by talking on it more.
We can train a totally different part of our brain to be in charge of our self care. I call it this part of the brain our "Habit Brain or Worker Brain” (AKA The Basal Ganglia).
This part of our brain is responsible for repetitive behavior, and handles things we do daily like brushing our teeth and driving a car.
We require very little willpower to do these activities because we have repeated them so often we don’t have to “think” about it. Therefore, “Boss Brain” isn’t drained.
The last 3 years I have researched how to train our “Habit Brain” to do the most essential Daily Fitness Habits to take care of our body.
I have uncovered 3 Core Habits which bring great results while decreasing our stress level.
The best news is they can be done:
* In less than 15 minutes a day
* By anyone, anywhere
* …and get FANTASTIC RESULTS which get better with time.
I have used and refined these Core 3 Habits over the past 3 years, and have taught them to my clients who have all received the results they were looking for.
Here’s the thing though, I’m not taking any new clients, and I’ll be the first to admit not everyone can afford a Personal Trainer at $120/week
I couldn’t keep this information to myself though...
I am compelled to share it with as many people as possible - because it has been so life changing for me, my husband, and my clients.
…So I’ve created an online version of my 12 Week Coaching Program.
This online 12 Week Coaching Program provides all the tools, training and accountability my private clients enjoy for a fraction of the price.
Instead of $120 a week, it works out to be about $16 a week.
I truly want anyone who is ready to commit a few minutes a day to have the training necessary to get results and learn skills to maintain those results for life.
